Banana Split Ice Cream Cake

This was a hit! Simple to make, delicious and could be great for a Spring or Summer Dessert, a birthday celebration or for all the banana split lovers out there!

Ingredients:

• 1 quart of Neapolitan ice cream (vanilla/chocolate/strawberry)

• 1 store-bought pound cake

• 2 bananas, sliced in 1/4” slices

• chocolate syrup

• whipped cream

• maraschino cherries

To make it: Start by slicing the pound cake in 3 lengthwise. Cover a pound cake loaf cake mold with parchment paper. Layer the cake: first one slice of pound cake, then 3 scoops of ice cream (spread evenly) , then add 1 banana sliced covering the entire mold. Repeat one more time. Finish with the top of the pound cake (the 3rd slice). Close the mold with the parchment paper and wrap with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for the cake to set. At least 2-3 hours. When it’s ready, serve on a plate or platter, drizzle chocolate syrup, add whipped cream and top with cherries! I hope you love it as much as we did!
XOXO, Carla
