Homemade Baileys

Homemade Baileys

This recipe will make 5 of these 12oz bottles.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups of half & half
  • 3 cups of Irish whiskey (I used Jim Beam)
  • 2 tbsp of chocolate syrup (I used Hersheys)
  • 2 tsp of instant coffee
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp of almond extract

In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix until well combined. Pour on your bottle of choice. Refrigerate until you are ready to gift. This will be good in the fridge for 2-3 weeks as long as your half & half had a good expiration. Half & half has a long expiration time. Just give it a quick shake and you are good to go! I used these sweet Gingerbread man bottles because they are so cute and festive.

I hope you try it and love it! And don’t forget to count yourself for a bottle 😉

xoxo,

Carla

Tania, half-and-half is half milk, half heavy cream

I’m lactose intolerant so I usually used sweetened condensed coconut milk. Can you recommend a substitute for the half and half that I can use?

Do you think a milk substitute could work instead of half and half?
