Cinnamon Sugar Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 cups whole pecans
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preheat oven at 300 degrees. In a mixer, whisk the egg whites until thick and fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix both sugars, cinnamon and pinch of salt. Mix the pecans well with the egg white mixture and add the cinnamon sugar. Coat them well. Place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake them in the oven at 300 for 15 minutes, take them out and stir and put them back for another 15 minutes. Remove, let them cool and store in airtight containers or gifting jars.
