Bundt Cake Easter Basket

I made this Easter Basket with this Lemon-Blueberry Bundt cake recipe. Here are the details! 

• 1 box of lemon cake mix

• 4 eggs

• 1-3.4oz of instant vanilla pudding

• 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

• 1 cup of hot water

• 1 cup of blueberries

• 1-2 tbsp of flour

To build the basket:

• 1 tub of vanilla, lemon or cream cheese frosting

• 1/2 tub of green frosting (or you can color the vanilla one with green food coloring to your liking)

• 3 peeps marshmallows

• 1 bag of chocolate eggs

To make this: start preparing the Bundt cake. In the mixer: add the cake mix, vanilla pudding, eggs, oil and hot water. The hot water doesn’t have to be boiling water but it has to have a hot temperature from the sink or put it for a minute in the microwave. Mix well. Toss the blueberries and the flour together making sure they get coated (this will allow them to stay in place while baking instead of falling to the bottom of the Bundt cake. Add the blueberries to the Bundt cake mixture and fold them in. Add this preparation to a Bundt cake container (previously greased) and bake off for 40 minutes at 350.

Place the cooked cake on your desire dish and let it cool off. Add both frostings to piping bags or ziploc bags. Pipe then on the Bundt cake as you see on the video creating first a coverage of the cake and then grass looking strikes with the green frosting. Add a thin head band and insert about 1/4 inch into the cake forming the basket handle. Fill the hole of the Bundt cake with aluminum foil (you can also fill it all with candy instead. Add the peels right in the middle (I like to add a lie frosting on the bottom so they stay in place and standing), and add the chocolate eggs around it.
