SUMMER TABLESCAPE IDEAS
I have teamed up with 8 talented bloggers to bring you ideas for Summer Tablescapes. If you are coming from my girl Melanie at My Georgian Farmhouse Blog, thank you for stopping by!
Today is my kid's last day of school. We are probably the last state to start Summer break...so as you might understand we are ready for Summer! To me, Summer calls for light colors, fresh stems and in this home of beekeepers, BEES.
I wanted to incorporate all those elements in my tablescape for a simple yet beautiful set up. Entertaining should be something simple in my opinion so you want to do it all the time and make it fun rather than stressful. I have changed my ways throughout the years and I have turned into simplicity and easy-going living. I wanted to share this tablescape with you because it can be done in minutes and still make a statement in your home or your event. Since neutral colors are the base on this tablescape, I think its very important to have something that will make it pop! The protagonist on my table is the centerpiece: The Floral arrangement.
I have made an easy-peasy tutorial on how to make this Floral Arrangement with a little hack to keep all those stems in place. After you see how simple it can be I think you are going to be adding fresh flowers to your home all the time.
I set up a table with different textures: instead of using a tablecloth I only throw 2 large flour sack dish towel to brighten it up but to still be able to see the grain of the gorgeous wooden table. As always white dishes are my first choice. Why? Because I can add any other colors or patterns to my seasonal changing tables.
As a touch to complete my theme, I added these super cute bee printed napkins from Betsey Grace Designs I loved working with her and she has a wide variety of products so make sure you check her out!
You can set up this tablescape indoor or outdoor. Just make sure you use melamine plates and outdoor glasses as I did. The sweet touches of the napkin details, the different textures of the wood grain table and the natural fiber placemats stand out on this simple tablescape. I hope you enjoy how easy this can be and don't be shy! Let your creative juices flow and make a tablescape too!
